Urgent appointments will be seen on the day of request. There are a number of appointments available every morning. These appointment slots are released every day at 8.00am.
Routine appointments can be booked up to four weeks in advance.
Nursing appointments can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance.
When making your appointment you may find that the receptionist will ask you for a brief reason for your appointment. This is so that your appointment is booked appropriately. Some conditions or problems need longer than others and some conditions or problems are dealt with by specific clinicians. This is particularly important when making an appointment to see the Practice Nurse and Healthcare Assistant. You can give personal as your appointment reason but please bear in mind that we ask for a reason to help you get the best care from your clinician. All staff are bound by the confidentiality act, including receptionists.
Cliff House Medical Practice is pleased to be able to offer our patients access to routine appointments at evenings and weekends. The appointments will also be available on bank holidays and across the Easter, Christmas and New Year periods.
Extended hours appointments are for pre-bookable non-urgent appointments.
The service is being delivered by a federation of GP practices in the area. If a patient wishes to attend an extended hours appointment, they may have to travel to another local GP practice and may not necessarily see their own GP.
